Coupe’ DeVille are an Adelaide based high energy Dance Band playing songs from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s.

 

Lead Guitarist Andrew O’Callaghan started his musical career as the triangle player in his primary school band, but quick progressed to guitar and piano. He has played in a number of bands playing originals, including The Liftdwellers and Mobiustrips, before forming The Deer Johns, an eclectic band that began playing shows at The Adelaide Fringe. Andrew and The Deer Johns went on to perform at The Edinburgh Fringe, and recently released an  EP of original music.

 

Lead vocalist Derek Armitage formed one of Adelaide’s top rock bands Jeremiah in the early 70’s which had great success including touring with country rock star Allison Durbin, he was also a member of well known Adelaide ’60/40 Cabaret’ band Combination in the 80’s and recently with Adelaide rockabilly band The Silverado’s.

 

Drummer Angelo Pedicini has spent a lively 35 years of laying down the grooves, keeping time and collaborating with various acts and show bands in Adelaide, from an Acoustic Jazz Quartet, Cabaret, Rock & Pop Show Band to an 11-piece R & B Show Band. Angelo was until recently a long-time member of the nationally renowned rockabilly act The Silverado’s having performed around the nation at major music festivals and supporting international acts from around the world

On bass guitar and double bass is Adelaide’s great Peter Caputo who has been playing bass since it was invented or so he tells us. Peter is also a current member of Adelaide’s internationally renowned band Lucky Seven Swing and was also until recently a member of The Memphis Suns. Peter has played all genres of music including Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rockabilly, Jazz & Swing.
